ELECTRIC CARS DON’T COMPROMISE ON STYLE
Nissan's innovative customer-focused approach has resulted in over 100 fascinating new features for the latest Nissan LEAF compared to our first generation model, including an updated CARWINGS system and enhanced warranty cover for the lithium-ion batteries. Other improvements include an increased boot capacity, an improved front charging port, great new interior and exterior colours and an improved overall comfort level.
THE LEAF'S LITHIUM-ION BATTERY HAS THE ABILITY TO RETAIN THE MAXIMUM POSSIBLE CHARGE CAPACITY EVEN AFTER MULTIPLE CHARGES
Resulting from 20 years of experience and investment, the Nissan LEAF's lithium-ion battery is compact, powerful, safe and durable. It is located under the car, meaning you have more room in the boot and the cabin, but still enjoy a long range and speeds of up to 90mph (for those with a race track in their back garden). True to Nissan LEAF's minimal environmental impact, the lithium-ion battery is also more than 95% recyclable and made right here in the UK.
An electric vehicle will cost approximately 2-4 pence per mile - equivalent petrol and diesel cars can cost up to 10 times that. Not only that, electric vehicle drivers are also exempt from vehicle excise duty (VED)* and the London Congestion Charge, while LEAF also qualifies for the lowest 5% BIK Band for company car drivers. Discounted, or even free parking for electric vehicles is available in some areas. Check your local council for details.
